Each
year Chipping Sodbury Lions run a charity street Fair in Broad Street Chipping The day starts with the stall all setting up along the wide chippings of Broad Street, the road is then closed to traffic and the sale is on!
At lunch time there is a various displays in the street by bands
and other groups. This followed by the carnival procession led by the Bristol Pipes & Drums band starting at Chipping Sodbury School, there are many floats, people of all ages marching along with the band. These include Cowboys & Indians and the Starwars crew!

Sodbury. This event helps to raise many thousands of pound for local charities.
There are many different stalls selling all kinds including old
fashioned sweets, books, plants flowers, home made cakes, tombolas and raffles.
The Lions run a special mobile raffle with a wheelbarrow and the lucky winner
wins a hamper of food.
The finally of the day is the prize giving where all the prizes
for the day and festival week are presented by the lord mayor.
